Revelation 10: 1: And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
Revelation 10: 7: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
On February 28, 1963, a supernatural Cloud formed by seven Angels appeared in the skies above Arizona. At an altitude of about 26-miles and measuring about 30-miles across, this spectacular Cloud was photographed from various locations, and featured as an article in Life magazine on May 17, 1963, titled, “And a high Cloud, ring of mystery.” The prophet makes mention of the Cloud and spoke of its significance in the message “It is the rising of the sun” (April 18, 1965). Whilst preaching, he held up a picture of the Cloud for the audience to see, and then turned the picture to the right so that the face of the Lord Jesus in the Cloud could be recognized by all. This motion of turning the picture to the right in order to see Jesus’ face had been made known to the prophet sometime prior, when a supernatural Voice had instructed him to do so whilst he was looking at the picture in his room one day.
The silhouette of Jesus eyes, nose, mouth, and beard are clearly visible inside the Cloud, revealing Christ as the Supreme Judge, and vindicating that the message of the hour is the Truth. But what is perhaps a lesser-known feature of this famous photograph is that the face of the prophet appears next to the Cloud. Unfortunately, unless one has a good quality photograph, the prophet’s face will not been seen, but sufficient for now will be a description of it, so that perhaps at a later date the reader can search it out for themselves.
To the left of the Cloud picture is a lightish area, and in that portion of light is the faint and unmistakable silhouette of the prophet’s face, showing his eyes, nose, and mouth, and the shape of his head. What is so amazing about it, is that the silhouette of Jesus’ face and the silhouette of the prophet’s face are both looking in the same direction (to their right). Furthermore, the silhouette of the prophet’s face is of the same proportions as Jesus’ face, so that the eyes of Jesus are looking through the back of the prophet’s head and through the prophet’s eyes.
The significance of this is truly profound, for it reveals to us that it was the Lord Jesus looking through the eyes of the prophet, and it was the Lord Jesus using the prophet’s lips to speak to this generation. It is therefore a most sobering thing to realize that those who have rejected the prophet and his message, they have actually rejected Christ who was working through him.
