Revelation 17: 9: And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
The city of Rome was built on seven hills: Aventine, Caelian, Capitoline, Esquiline, Palatine, Quirinal, Viminal.
It is earlier recorded that that one of the Roman beast’s heads was wounded to death (Revelation 13: 3: And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.). This was Capitoline Hill which was the center of the Roman Empire where its laws were passed and where the power of the Roman Empire ended when its emperor was deposed by the barbarians.
