There are three robes that a Christian has to clothe the soul. The first robe is the indwelling Holy Spirit by the new birth. This is the robe we must be wearing now for the Wedding Supper (Matthew 22: 11; Revelation 19: 7).
The second robe is the theophany body of the believer that is already in existence beyond the Curtain of Time (2 Corinthians 5: 1 – 3). This is the body the soul goes to when the flesh body dies, and is what the prophet witnessed when he saw the saints beyond the Curtain of Time.
When the theophany body comes to the earth and unites with the flesh body of the believer on the earth at the time of the translation of the New Testament saints, then the flesh body will become glorified (1 Corinthians 15: 51 – 53). This is the third robe, the glorified body, the blending together of the flesh with the theophany. This is the body Jesus had after He resurrected, and when we see Jesus, we will see Him because we will be like him; in other words, we will have the same body that He has (1 John 3: 2: Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.).
