Matter is spirit slowed down

The subject of spirit is one that is very misunderstood. It is because we think of it as something entirely separate from the apparent reality of the world in which we presently live. When we talk of spirit beings such as ghosts or demons, or of theophanies and angels, or when we speak of spirit worlds such as Heaven or Hell, we conceptualize them as otherworldly fantasy, detached and lacking in the substance that forms the makeup of who we are and the world around us.

Our perception of matter as being an apparent reality that has solidity and permanence is actually a stumbling block to our mindset and shows a flaw in our thinking. We are taught that everything around us is physical matter because it has density and looks so convincing to our material senses of the body. But the truth is, nothing actually exists that is not spirit!

Physicists tell us that matter is merely a form of electrical energy. But electrical energy is actually spiritual energy in a lower vibration. Let us examine this thought for a moment. When controlled, matter is spirit, because when it is reduced to its ultimate components, all matter, whether diamond, wood, water, flesh, bone, or blood, is found to consist of atoms of molecules, and the molecules are made up of positive and negative charges of electricity (and neutrons) revolving around one another.

The different materials that make up the physical world vary according to the number, arrangement, and rate of vibration of the electrical charges that they are composed of. So then, matter is spirit that is reduced in vibrational frequency to a point where it becomes perceptible to our senses. But the frequency of spirit is infinitely variable, which is why matter is spirit in relativity, because it is based very largely upon our consciousness or impression of spirit.

Before there was a beginning, Elohim was the great Fountain of Spirit, existing alone when there was not even an atomic molecule. Then when Elohim began creating, atomic molecules of infinite variance in frequency came into being, these having been divinely arranged in the mind of God to make up all things, whether visible or invisible, before their ever having come into existence.

The Pillar of Fire, the angels, the physical universe, and all the dimensions and their unique makeup, all of that came out from God. But when we call things as supernatural, it is because we do not possess a thorough understanding of how the laws that govern the unseen (their frequency of existence and operation) actually work, because their characteristics and mode of expression are contrary to the laws that govern the physical world (for example, how the Pillar of Fire could set a bush alight in the desert and yet it not be consumed, or of how a cancer can instantaneously disappear [termed “a miracle”] under the prayer of faith).

This is why spirit, the mind, thought, the spoken word and matter are inextricably linked and have such a powerful effect upon us, because they all have a connection with the other. Spirit is the source of electrical energy of infinitely varying frequency. The mind is the medium through which that energy works. Thought is the instrument that sets the electrical energy to work and determines the direction in which it shall work, whether positive and constructive, or negative and destructive. Matter is the field in which the results are produced, and the spoken word upon our lips is the link between the thoughts of our mind and what becomes reality.

No wonder then that faith is in the subconscious, and that prayer and the confession of our lips is so powerful! Our mind and the thoughts of it, and the words which we speak, being formed from the thoughts of our mind, have the power to shape our reality, whether for good, or for the worse. These principles are outlined in numerous passages of scripture, and is why we must set our minds on the Word of God, for that in turn brings the frequency of our makeup into sync with the promises of God, which in turn produces an overcoming walk and bring healing and victory.

Lastly, the Lord Jesus, by the power of thought could materialize what He had need of directly from the invisible source of all spirit, which is the Father Himself. Jesus turned water into wine, He multiplied loaves and fishes, He walked on water, He calmed a storm, He could heal the sick and so on. He could even lower or raise His own vibratory rate at will, and appear or vanish from sight as He pleased. No wall could contain Him, nor could death hold dominion over Him. But in whatever He thought or did, it was always in perfect submission of self to the will of the Father within Him. And for us it is the same, that we bring ourselves in submission to the will of the Father, that the supernatural outworking of the laws of God may have their perfect manifestation in our lives.
