Ezekiel 39:6: And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
After Russia, Iran and Turkey and other nations of their coalition have invaded Israel during the Great Tribulation, the Lord Jesus shall return to the earth with His Bride of New Testament saints to deliver Israel and to set up His Kingdom. This will be the time of Armageddon and is when a fire will be sent upon Magog (Russia) and upon the people of the nations that are far away from the epicenter of the war.
Armageddon is World War Three, and is when God shall send a fire against the nations. This fire is not being lit on the ground, but is being sent to the nations from the skies above. When we examine the current war against Iran (as of March 2026), the reasoning behind the war is the fear that Iran wants to build nuclear weapons to launch against Israel and the west. The war is all about stopping Iran from using nuclear material to build nuclear weapons that can be launched in order to produce an atomic chain reaction of fire upon the nations that the missiles are sent against.
America at the time of Armageddon will no longer be a superpower, but will have been reduced to the status of a strong regional power, and that is all. Because of this, America has no leading role to play in the support and defence of Israel at Armageddon, but can only stand back and look on helplessly from the sidelines as Israel is overwhelmed by her enemies. This will be the time when God comes on the scene for Israel and delivers the nation using the forces of nature by the power of His Spoken Word, and is when the American public who are watching the unfolding war from afar will be horrified to learn of an imminent strike from inbound nuclear-armed missiles that will wipe-out their self-proclaimed untouchable nation of invincibility.
This is what Ezekiel saw when he spoke of a fire being sent upon a people who live securely and safely in the distant coastlands, far away from all the action. Ezekiel’s vision ties-in perfectly with the seventh vision of the last-days prophet, William Branham, where he saw the United States cratered by atomic weapons. Armageddon will be the fulfilment of that vision, when the explosive fire from detonated nuclear-armed missiles sent by God from America’s enemies, will burn-up the nation that rejected the prophet and his message.
