Brother Branham stated in 1956 that he believed America was getting its last call that year. He and other prominent American ministries of that time had received invitations to travel overseas, but something was holding the prophet and those other ministries to spend a large portion of their time that year staying in America and preaching to the American people, calling the nation to repentance. America however refused to heed this urgent final call, and as a result the nation has been on a decline ever since and is now ready to be destroyed by God.
