The chariots shall rage in the streets

Nahum 2:4: The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.

The prophet Nahum foresaw the invention of the automobile. The roads, streets, highways and freeways of the modern world are filled with cars travelling back and forth, their headlights at night appearing as shining torches and their speed likened to lightning.
