Before the Great Flood in the days of Noah, there was one great big supercontinent, and Atlantis was a part of it. But when the foundations of the earth were broken-up, then the supercontinent split apart, and land was pushed below the waters, and other land was pushed-up above the waters. Atlantis which is famously known as a lost city or even as the lost continent, was one of those places which disappeared from the earth forever. Its memory became immortalized in ancient mythology and science-fantasy, and its whereabouts has intrigued the curious throughout the ages.
As Atlantis was destroyed in the Great Flood that washed the earth clean of all the sin upon it, so the city of Los Angeles in the state of California will be washed-away by a great earthquake that causes it to sink beneath the Pacific waves. Then when the Bride of Jesus Christ sets foot upon the earth in the Kingdom Age (the Millennium), there will be no more trace of the city or of the state of California for that matter. The city will have sunk and California will have been entirely destroyed by the atomics and volcanics that devastate the United States at Armageddon.
As we presently talk of how Atlantis once existed and that a greatly advanced civilization of people once lived there, so in the Millennium the people will speak of a land known as California and of a once-famous city known as Los Angeles that existed on it. They will talk of an industry called Hollywood that was the heartbeat of the city, and will set out on adventures to find the city and to learn about the kind of civilization that existed there. But as the millennial ages roll by, the memory and details of the sunken city and the state of California upon which the city was built shall gradually fade from recollection and record, and will become famously known as the lost city of Los Angeles of the vanished land of California.
