The Book of Daniel is the Old Testament equivalent to the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. Daniel happens to be the 27th book in the Old Testament, and Revelation is the 27th book in the New Testament. Although Daniel contains 12 chapters, and Revelation has 22 chapters, yet much of what is described in one book matches the other perfectly.
