Revelation 12: 7 – 9: And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
When Lucifer and his angels were cast out of Heaven, not only did they lose their position as angels, but they also lost their bodies, thus they became disembodied spirits looking for flesh to live in. When they do find flesh to live in, if that fleshly habitation should die, the spirit will then look for another body of flesh to enter into. As the ages have rolled by and people have lived and died, those fallen spirits have moved from flesh to flesh, and will not come to their end until they are destroyed by God in the Lake of Fire.
In Genesis 15: 18 – 21, God told Abraham of ten tribal nations that his seed would dispossess. Later we read of Haman’s ten sons in the Book of Esther, who in cohorts with Haman, greatly hated the Jewish people. After Haman’s ten sons were killed, we then read of ten nations of peoples that would come against Israel in the end times according to Psalm 83. After this we read of the ten horns in Revelation 17, who would make an allegiance with the Beast and make war against Israel in the Tribulation. This is a very good example of the same devils from Genesis to Revelation working in nations and peoples to come against Israel throughout time.
