Revelation 2: 17: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Revelation 3: 12: Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
The secret of the new name is made plain when looking at Revelation 19: 16: And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. The thigh is a euphemism or soft word for the loins, so the name of the Father is contained in His seed that comes from His loins. If you are the seed of God then the name of God is given to you by the new birth. Your natural name comes at your natural birth, so your new name comes by your new birth. Abram was given his name by his father Terah, but he was given his new name (Abraham) by God. Jacob was given his name by his father Isaac, but he was given his new name (Israel) by God. You do not need an angel to tell you what your natural name is, but when you are born from the loins of God, then He tells you what your name is, He writes upon you the name of God and the name of the City of God.
Jehovah of the Old Testament is Jesus of the New Testament. The name of the Father was revealed in the flesh of His Son: “Lord Jesus Christ” (Matthew 28: 19; Acts 2: 38). If you are born of God, then the name of Jesus Christ belongs to you. If you are the Bride of Christ, then the name of Jesus Christ belongs to you. When that name is revealed to you, then your Father is revealed to you, you understand that you came from the loins of God. And when your Father is revealed to you, then your position is revealed, your promise is revealed, your anointing is revealed, and your destiny is revealed.
