Matthew 24:24: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Ephesians 4:11: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
There are two fivefold ministries spoken of in the Bible; the first is in Matthew 24:24, and the second is in Ephesians 4:11. The difference between the two is that the first has their names in the Book of Life, whilst the second has their names in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The majority of ministries in the world today are of the first group; although a lot of them are sincere, and many more of them are false anointed, yet not one of them is elect, and therefore not born again. Of these ministries, there are those that are saved and will receive eternal life at the Great White Throne of Judgment, but the rest of them who were false anointed, their names have been struck off the Book of Life and will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
The second group of ministries have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and are given by God for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). These are men with the Holy Ghost who have caught the vision of the Word and can place It correctly for the age in which they live. So then, the number of genuine ministers belonging to the group spoken of in Ephesians 4:11 is far, far fewer than the number of ministers associated with the group spoken of in Matthew 24:24.
The Bible contains numerous examples of ministries in the Book of Life and ministries in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Balaam was a prophet in the Book of Life whilst Moses was a prophet in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Judas was an apostle in the Book of Life whilst Peter was an apostle in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Billy Graham and Oral Roberts were evangelists in the Book of Life whilst William Branham was a prophet in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
